وتمنح للمرة الأولى مدة سنة واحدة وتجدد لثلاث سنوات وبعدها تجدد لخمس سنوات ومن الناحية العملية يتوجب أن لا تقل حصة المستثمر في الشركة الاستثمارية ما يعادل 35 ألف دولار أمريكي ليحصل على موافقة الإقامة الاستثمارية على أن يكون مستكملاً لكافة أوراقه الثبوتية لدى هيئة الاستثمار ومن ضمنها الموافقات الأمنية المطلوبة وتمنح للمستثمر وأقاربه من الدرجة الأولى .
